Dreamscape Hosptality is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for our Lafayette Square property in Orleans Parish. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to maintain our facilities, ensure guest safety, and keep our hospitality environment clean and well-functioning.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician with Dreamscape Hosptality, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our property. This full-time hourly position offers the opportunity to build your maintenance skills while working in the dynamic hospitality industry. You'll work independently and as part of a team to address maintenance requests promptly and keep our Lafayette Square location operating at peak efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property, including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house facilities
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff in a timely and professional manner
• Inspect equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units to identify issues before they escalate
• Conduct preventative maintenance to extend the life of property systems and equipment
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance work completed and materials used
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule repairs and minimize guest disruption
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related trade
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety standards
• Valid driver's license preferred
