About the Role
Position 23888: As Crew Leader Bridge Tunnel, you'll oversee day-to-day bridge and tunnel operations while leading crew members and patrollers. You'll manage emergency situations and unusual incidents, communicate real-time updates to Traffic Control Supervisors and Control Rooms, and direct traffic control efforts to maintain safe operations.
What You'll Do
- Direct crew members and bridge tunnel patrollers in operational and maintenance tasks
- Respond proactively to emergencies and unusual situations
- Communicate real-time incident and equipment status updates to Traffic Control Supervisors and Control Rooms
- Assess incident scenes to determine personnel needs and communicate staffing requests
- Oversee traffic direction and control operations
- Lead problem-solving efforts in time-sensitive, unpredictable scenarios
