CC is hiring a Tour Commander at our Queens, New York City location. In this full-time security leadership role, you'll be the primary point of contact for all resident security concerns, manage on-site incident response, oversee contracted security personnel, and maintain comprehensive security operations for our property.
About the Role
The Tour Commander position is the cornerstone of our on-site security presence. You'll be responsible for ensuring residents feel secure, coordinating with our security team, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed documentation of all security activities. This role combines customer service excellence with security operations management.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary customer service contact for all security-related questions and concerns from residents
- Respond to and manage both major and minor incidents on the property
- Conduct regular vertical and perimeter patrols throughout the facility
- Monitor and oversee all security camera systems on-site
- Supervise the performance and daily activities of contracted security officers
- Work collaboratively with contracted security personnel to maintain security standards
- Document all incidents, suspicious activities, and security events in detailed incident reports
- Review, approve, and maintain records of all security reports filed by contracted officers
What We're Looking For
- Relevant experience in security management, property security, or a supervisory security role
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of security systems, camera monitoring, and incident response procedures
- Demonstrated leadership ability and experience supervising security personnel
- Strong written documentation skills for incident reporting
- Physical capability to conduct regular patrols and maintain on-site presence
- Detail-oriented approach to record-keeping and security documentation
- Commitment to full-time employment and available hours as needed
