V R Della Infotech Inc is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care for our clinical operations in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. This is a full-time position serving patients across our Des Moines and West Des Moines locations.
About the Role
As an RN in our medical-surgical and telemetry unit, you'll provide direct patient care, monitor cardiac rhythms, and collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes. You'll work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend (Friday through Sunday) and every other holiday, with flexibility to float between our Des Moines and West Des Moines facilities as needed.
What You'll Do
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to med-surg and telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for patient safety
- Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and document nursing interventions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocol
- Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patients' families
- Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and infection control standards
- Float flexibly between Des Moines and West Des Moines locations to support operational needs
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license in good standing in Iowa
- Experience in medical-surgical and/or telemetry nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Willingness to support multiple clinical locations
- Excellent communication and patient care orientation
- Commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes
