Austin Independent School District seeks a full-time GF Coordinator Campus Support to strengthen special education coordination and student support services across our school campuses. This Central Office position works to ensure equitable, effective educational opportunities for all students.
About the Role
As a Campus Support Coordinator in our Special Education department, you will serve as a key liaison between central office administration and individual school sites, ensuring consistent implementation of special education policies, procedures, and student services. Your work directly impacts how our schools deliver support to students with diverse learning needs.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate special education programming and support services across assigned campuses
- Monitor compliance with special education regulations and district policies at the campus level
- Collaborate with campus administrators, special education staff, and support teams to address student and program needs
- Participate in coordination of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related services
- Support professional development and training initiatives for campus-based staff
- Maintain documentation and communicate progress to central office leadership
- Serve as a resource and problem-solver for campus-level special education challenges
What We're Looking For
- Experience in special education, student support services, or school administration
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of special education law, IEPs, and district policies
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple campuses and departments
- Commitment to supporting all students and ensuring equitable services
