About the Role
The Merrill Advisor Development Program is designed to cultivate the next generation of financial advisors at Bank of America Merrill. As a Financial Advisor in this program, you'll work to build strong client relationships and deliver comprehensive financial solutions across the Columbia market region, which includes locations in Greenville, Spartanburg, and Macon.
What You'll Do
- Develop and nurture lasting relationships with clients to understand their financial goals and objectives
- Provide holistic financial advisory services including investment management, wealth planning, and comprehensive financial strategies
- Build and grow a client base through client referrals, networking, and proactive market engagement
- Collaborate with team members to deliver integrated financial solutions that address client needs
- Stay current with market conditions, investment products, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to a client-centric culture that prioritizes integrity, accountability, and exceptional service
What We're Looking For
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine ability to listen and problem-solve
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Willingness to obtain required securities licenses (Series 7, Series 65, or equivalent)
- Passion for helping clients achieve their financial objectives
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
