About the Role

This is a hands-on position where you'll work alongside experienced physical therapists in a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic. You'll play a direct role in patient recovery, helping individuals regain mobility, strength, and function following injury or surgery. The part-time schedule offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Implement therapeutic exercises and treatment protocols under the direction of the supervising physical therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and exercise tolerance during treatment sessions
• Educate patients on proper form, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment to ensure a safe, clean clinical environment
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers while maintaining safety and comfort
• Communicate patient feedback and progress notes to the clinical team
• Support the overall delivery of evidence-based orthopedic rehabilitation

What We're Looking For

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license or certification (state of North Carolina)
• Experience or genuine interest in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
• Strong communication skills and genuine empathy for patients at various recovery stages
• Ability to follow clinical protocols while exercising good judgment
• Reliable, professional approach to clinical practice
• Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team
