Installer Helper I

Service Experts Heating & AC-NY is hiring a full-time Installer Helper I in Clifton Park, Saratoga County to support our installation teams while learning the HVAC trade.

About the Role

As an Installer Helper I, you'll work alongside experienced HVAC technicians to deliver professional heating, cooling, and ventilation system installations to homeowners and small commercial clients across the Capital Region. This is an entry-level position that provides hands-on training in a fast-growing trade while contributing directly to customer satisfaction and team productivity.

What You'll Do

• Assist lead technicians during residential and light commercial HVAC system installations
• Prepare work areas, manage tools and materials, and maintain organized job sites
• Learn proper handling and installation techniques for heating, air conditioning, and ductwork components
• Perform equipment staging, positioning, and securing under technician supervision
• Help with system testing, ductwork sealing, and post-installation cleanup
• Support warranty setup and customer handoff processes
• Develop troubleshooting and diagnostic skills through on-the-job training

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to learn HVAC systems and installation best practices
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and customer service orientation
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team
• HVAC certification or trade school background is a plus but not required
