About the Role

This is a full-time position within our clinical laboratory services. As a Histology Technician, you'll prepare and process surgical pathology specimens, applying your technical expertise to ensure accurate specimen preparation for microscopic examination and diagnosis. You'll work under general supervision, contributing to the precision and reliability our pathology department requires.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and stain routine surgical pathology specimens using standard histological techniques
• Process tissue samples through embedding, sectioning, and mounting procedures
• Apply histological stains to specimens in accordance with laboratory protocols
• Maintain accurate records of specimen handling and processing
• Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and functioning
• Follow all safety and quality standards required in a clinical pathology environment

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in Histology, Life Sciences, or related field (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Knowledge of histological techniques and specimen preparation
• Ability to follow laboratory protocols and maintain compliance standards
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented approach to clinical work
• Willingness to maintain minimum monthly hour requirements as scheduled by the department
