ResolveTech Solutions Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer (W2, Full Time) in Irving, Dallas to design and evaluate next-generation search infrastructure for a premier retail and digital commerce platform operating at significant scale.
About the Role
You'll lead the technical evaluation and implementation of advanced search capabilities to serve a high-volume, multi-regional commerce environment. Your focus will center on assessing modern search solutions—specifically exploring MongoDB Atlas Search—as a potential foundation for a new platform architecture that ingests and indexes product, availability, and regional datasets at enterprise scale. Success means validating whether a proposed solution meets the performance, reliability, and query requirements of a demanding production environment.
What You'll Do
- Architect and build search infrastructure components that handle large datasets across multiple product and regional catalogs
- Evaluate MongoDB Atlas Search capabilities against current production requirements and performance benchmarks
- Design integration patterns to connect search functionality with existing product and availability systems
- Optimize indexing strategies and query performance for retail commerce use cases
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to define search platform specifications
- Validate technical assumptions through proof-of-concept development and performance testing
What We're Looking For
- Strong backend engineering experience with database design and optimization
- Hands-on expertise with MongoDB or comparable NoSQL search solutions
- Track record building or improving search systems at scale
- Solid foundation in API design and distributed systems concepts
- Experience in or familiarity with retail, e-commerce, or digital commerce platforms
- Problem-solving mindset focused on technical validation and performance
