About the Role
As a Dietary Cook at Magnolia Health Systems, you'll work in our food service department preparing meals that meet stringent health care standards. You'll take direction from our Director of Food Service and Assistant Director, collaborate with the dietary team, and consistently uphold the quality standards that define our commitment to patient nutrition and care.
What You'll Do
- Prepare meals following established recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety protocols
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local food preparation regulations
- Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and menu specifications
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized work station
- Communicate with dietary staff to coordinate meal preparation and service times
- Monitor food quality and appearance before service
