Superintendent, Healthcare Construction (Fort Myers)

About the Role

You'll oversee day-to-day construction execution and serve as lead on-site manager for a specialized healthcare facility. Working alongside hospital administrators, design professionals, and trade contractors, you'll drive completion of a project that must meet the elevated standards for quality, compliance, and precision that define modern healthcare environments.

What You'll Do

• Direct all on-site construction operations and manage coordination of multiple trade contractors
• Establish and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks throughout execution
• Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance across all jobsite activities
• Perform regular site assessments and troubleshoot construction issues in real time
• Manage permits, submittals, documentation, and communications with all project stakeholders
• Verify compliance with healthcare facility codes and infection control design standards
• Report progress status and maintain comprehensive project documentation

What We're Looking For

• Professional experience as superintendent or senior project manager on healthcare, medical, or institutional construction projects
• Deep knowledge of construction management practices, project scheduling, and cost management
• Understanding of healthcare building code requirements and specialized facility design standards
• Strong leadership capabilities and proven ability to manage diverse construction teams
• Commitment to safety excellence; OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or closely related field preferred
• Ability to work on-site full-time in the Cape Coral, Florida area
