Cloud SynApps is hiring an Account Executive to build and close B2B sales opportunities within the public sector market across the United States. This full-time role focuses on state and local government clients seeking innovative solutions to drive operational efficiency and service delivery.
About the Role
You'll own the complete sales lifecycle for Cloud SynApps' public sector offerings, from prospect identification through contract closure. This position demands strategic thinking, consultative selling expertise, and the ability to navigate complex government buying cycles. You'll combine data-driven insights with relationship expertise to position solutions that address pressing challenges in state and local administration.
What You'll Do
- Identify and evaluate qualified opportunities within state and local government markets
- Cultivate lasting partnerships with government leadership, procurement officers, and key decision-makers
- Conduct comprehensive business reviews and deliver persuasive solution pitches tailored to agency needs
- Structure agreements, lead contract discussions, and finalize terms that create mutual value
- Progress opportunities through the sales funnel to successful close and revenue realization
- Work collaboratively with internal sales operations, product teams, and implementation partners
What We're Looking For
- Established track record in B2B account sales with demonstrated ability to close complex transactions
- Sharp analytical and strategic reasoning capabilities
- Marketing acumen combined with consultative selling approach
- Knowledge of public sector procurement, compliance, and government budgeting cycles (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Self-directed, results-oriented professional who thrives in direct sales environments
