Kent Caregiver (CNA/HHA)

Family Best Care is seeking compassionate, reliable in-home caregivers for ongoing client care assignments in Kent, King County and surrounding communities. This part-time position is ideal for Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants who thrive in direct care settings, value consistent client relationships, and appreciate partnering with a responsive, communicative office team.

About the Role

As an in-home caregiver with Family Best Care, you'll provide hands-on personal care and support to clients throughout the Kent area. This role emphasizes longer-term client relationships, meaning you'll work with familiar patients over time rather than rotating through new assignments. You'll maintain a consistent weekly schedule, providing both predictable hours and the meaningful opportunity to build trust and improve clients' quality of life.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Support mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure client and personal safety
• Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance as needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe, clean home environment
• Monitor clients' health, comfort, and emotional well-being
• Report observations and changes to the Family Best Care office team
• Follow individualized care plans and respect client preferences
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and coordinate care details

What We're Looking For

• Current, active Washington Home Care Aide credential (HCA) or active nursing license
• Genuine compassion for seniors and individuals with chronic conditions
• Strong attention to detail in following care instructions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, professional conduct in all client interactions
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
