About the Role

As a CDL A Tanker Driver with Oakley Transport, you'll operate specialized tanker equipment across multiple route types, transporting various liquid cargo while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards. This is a full-time, on-site driving position with scheduling flexibility designed to support your work-life balance.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate Class A tanker vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
• Manage loading, unloading, and cargo documentation accurately
• Navigate diverse routes and run types based on operational needs and driver preferences
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch, customers, and safety teams
• Optimize fuel efficiency and on-time delivery performance

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL Class A license with tanker endorsement in good standing
• Demonstrated experience operating tanker equipment (3+ years preferred)
• Clean driving record and passing DOT medical certification
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and professional conduct
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Flexibility across varied schedules and hometime arrangements

Experienced tank drivers may qualify for our retention bonus program, earning up to $7,500–$15,000 based on background and experience, with $1,500 paid within your first 90 days. Additional bonus opportunities up to 12 cents per mile are available based on safety and operational performance. You'll also access flexible hometime options and multiple run types tailored to your preferences.
