About the Role

The Medical Assistant at vTech Solution's Cancer Center plays a vital administrative role in our outpatient oncology operations. You'll divide your time between our primary facility and outpatient cancer center, supporting patient services, office operations, and the financial aspects of care delivery. This role directly impacts patient experience and office efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Assist patients with financial questions, copay verification, and payment assistance programs
• Handle administrative office operations and scheduling coordination
• Support patient intake and documentation processes
• Float between the primary facility and outpatient cancer center as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and office filing systems
• Greet and assist patients, answering common questions about services and procedures

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in a medical office setting, particularly oncology or cancer care
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Professional demeanor with patients and staff
• Proficiency with medical office software and general office tools
• Spanish fluency (highly preferred)
• Experience with oncology office procedures and workflows (highly preferred)
