Director of Institutional Advancement, Allentown Central Catholic High School

Allentown Central Catholic High School, a ministry of the Diocese of Allentown, seeks a strategic Director of Institutional Advancement to lead the school's development and community engagement initiatives. This full-time position will be based in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

About the Role

You'll serve as the senior advancement officer for Allentown Central Catholic High School, driving comprehensive fundraising, donor relations, and alumni engagement programs. This leadership role shapes the financial stability and mission-driven growth of a Catholic educational institution, reporting directly to the Principal.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute institutional advancement strategy, including major gifts, annual giving, grants, and planned giving programs
• Cultivate relationships with donors, alumni, parents, and community partners to increase philanthropic support
• Manage fundraising campaigns aligned with school priorities and Catholic educational values
• Oversee donor communications, stewardship, and recognition programs
• Direct alumni engagement activities and maintain alumni networks
• Write and submit grant proposals to foundations and government agencies
• Collaborate with the Principal, faculty, and board leadership on institutional goals
• Plan and coordinate advancement events, galas, and fundraising activities
• Track and report on development metrics, donor portfolios, and campaign progress

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in institutional advancement, major gift fundraising, or nonprofit development
• Strong grant-writing and proposal development experience
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and persuasion skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets and strategic campaigns
• Comfort with donor database systems and advancement technology platforms
• Alignment with Catholic educational mission and values
• Bachelor's degree (advanced degree in related field preferred)
• Professional experience in K-12 education advancement or equivalent nonprofit leadership
