About the Role

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Piedmont Healthcare, you will administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate specialized imaging equipment to deliver high-quality nuclear medicine and cardiac imaging studies. Your work directly supports our physicians in diagnosing and treating patient conditions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.

What You'll Do

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to established medical protocols and clinical procedures
• Operate gamma cameras and advanced nuclear imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images
• Perform nuclear medicine and cardiac imaging procedures with technical precision and clinical expertise
• Conduct equipment quality assurance and calibration testing per manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements
• Maintain detailed records of procedures, imaging data, and radiation safety measurements
• Apply evidence-based radiation dose optimization and safety protocols throughout each examination
• Work flexible hours including weekday shifts and scheduled Saturday availability
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Certification or current eligibility for certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
• Current Georgia radiology licensure or ability to obtain
• Solid understanding of nuclear medicine procedures, radiopharmaceutical handling, and radiation safety protocols
• Hands-on experience operating nuclear imaging equipment in a clinical setting
• Strong attention to detail and genuine commitment to quality patient care
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment with flexible scheduling needs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
