Based in McLean, Fairfax County, this full-time role combines consultative selling with deep industry expertise to close enterprise deals and build lasting client partnerships.
About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive specializing in Aerospace & Defense, you'll own the sales cycle for large, complex opportunities. You'll work with C-level executives and technical stakeholders to position Salesforce's CRM platform as a transformational business solution. Your success directly impacts revenue targets while shaping how leading A&D organizations manage customer relationships and drive operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Identify, qualify, and pursue enterprise sales opportunities within the Aerospace & Defense vertical
- Lead discovery conversations to understand customer challenges and align Salesforce solutions with business outcomes
- Develop and execute account penetration strategies for assigned enterprise accounts
- Collaborate with sales engineers, solution consultants, and customer success teams through the entire deal cycle
- Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers
- Forecast accurately and report pipeline activity through Salesforce systems
- Negotiate contracts and close deals on schedule and at target margins
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record closing enterprise SaaS or software deals, preferably in CRM, cloud solutions, or mission-critical systems
- Experience selling to Aerospace, Defense, Government, or heavily regulated industries
- Strong command of enterprise sales methodology and consultative selling approaches
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long sales cycles
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strategic mindset with ability to uncover business value and ROI
- Self-motivated, competitive, and driven by measurable success
