School Bus Driver (Part-Time)

Foundation Academies is seeking a dependable, safety-focused School Bus Driver (Part-Time) in Trenton, Mercer County to transport our scholars to and from school each day. About the Role

As a part-time school bus driver, you'll operate our buses during morning and afternoon routes, managing your schedule across split shifts. You may also pick up additional hours driving for field trips, athletic events, and special programs—giving you control over your earnings and availability. Your primary mission is ensuring every scholar arrives safely, on time, and ready to learn.

What You'll Do

• Operate a school bus safely, following all traffic laws, district policies, and safety protocols
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain mechanical readiness
• Manage student behavior and enforce bus conduct expectations with professionalism and patience
• Maintain accurate logs of routes, mileage, and student ridership
• Respond to emergencies and vehicle issues with calm judgment
• Support field trips and athletic transportation as staffing needs arise

What We're Looking For

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and a clean driving record
• Background check clearance and ability to work in a school setting
• Strong safety awareness and defensive driving skills
• Reliability and punctuality—scholars depend on you every day
• Comfort interacting professionally with young people and school staff
• Mechanical awareness and willingness to report vehicle maintenance needs

Compensation & Schedule
