About the Role

As a Group Employee Benefits Consulting Manager at Accenture, you'll work at the intersection of human resources strategy and business operations. You'll partner with Fortune 500 and mid-market organizations to design, implement, and enhance comprehensive employee benefits programs that attract and retain top talent. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex compliance requirements, optimize costs, and align benefits strategies with broader talent management initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Lead benefits consulting projects from discovery through implementation, serving as the primary client contact
  • Conduct detailed assessments of current benefits programs and identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings
  • Develop customized benefits strategies that balance employee needs, employer objectives, and regulatory compliance
  • Manage relationships with benefits vendors, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators
  • Support benefits communications planning and employee education initiatives
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to Accenture's benefits consulting practice development
  • Build thought leadership through industry research and client workshops on emerging benefits trends

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in employee benefits consulting, benefits administration, or HR benefits management
  • Demonstrated success managing complex consulting engagements and building long-term client relationships
  • Deep knowledge of group health insurance, retirement plans, welfare benefits, and compliance regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to quantify benefits program ROI
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence executives and diverse stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; benefits certification (CBP or similar) preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
