CDL-A Company Driver – 1-5mo EXP Required – OTR – Dry Van

Join U.S. Xpress as a full-time CDL-A company driver for over-the-road (OTR) operations based in Dunbar, Kanawha County. We're seeking experienced drivers with 1–5 months of commercial driving background who are ready to log consistent miles in our dry van fleet.

About the Role

This is an over-the-road driving position offering a structured rotation and competitive earnings. You'll operate a dry van, covering approximately 2,000 miles per week on average, with a home schedule of 12 days out and 2 days home. We provide a guaranteed weekly minimum of $1,500 and a $4,000 sign-on bonus to help you get started.

What You'll Do

• Operate a commercial truck safely across multiple states, following all DOT and company regulations
• Manage pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain detailed maintenance documentation
• Maintain accurate logbooks and adhere strictly to hours-of-service requirements
• Deliver freight on schedule while prioritizing safety and customer service
• Communicate regularly with dispatch and company management to coordinate routes and resolve issues

What We're Looking For

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• 1–5 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Clean driving record and passing DOT medical examination
• Ability to work independently and meet consistent delivery commitments
• Professional attitude and unwavering commitment to safety standards

Compensation & Opportunities

We offer competitive pay ranging from 57–64 cents per mile based on your experience and performance, with a guaranteed weekly minimum of $1,500. High-performing drivers in our fleet can earn up to $1,700 per week. If you're interested in team driving, we offer $5,000 sign-on bonuses with split pay of 72–80 cents per mile and access to approximately 5,000 miles per week.
