You'll develop software for autonomous Unmanned Surface Vehicles, Unmanned Underwater Vehicles, and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles that operate in complex marine environments.
About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to participate in all phases of software development for autonomous maritime vehicle platforms. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll contribute to defining, designing, implementing, integrating, testing, and supporting critical software that powers unmanned systems.
What You'll Do
- Define software architecture and system requirements for autonomous vehicle platforms
- Design scalable software solutions for undersea and surface vehicle applications
- Implement core software components and system features
- Integrate software across multiple vehicle platforms and subsystems
- Verify software functionality through comprehensive testing and validation
- Deliver production-grade software on schedule and to specification
- Maintain and enhance existing software products and documentation
What We're Looking For
- Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer with a proven track record
- Deep expertise in software architecture and systems design
- Experience developing embedded, real-time, or mission-critical systems
- Proficiency with modern programming languages and software development practices
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate within technical teams
- Excellent analytical skills and commitment to quality
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
