Grounds Technician (5028-50)

HES Facilities, a dedicated provider of facilities management services exclusively to educational institutions across the United States, is hiring a Grounds Technician for our team in Anderson, Madison County. This is a full-time position where you'll maintain and enhance the outdoor spaces that support our clients' educational environments.

About the Role

As a Grounds Technician with HES Facilities, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day grounds maintenance and landscaping work at educational facilities. You'll work as part of a collaborative facilities team to ensure outdoor areas remain safe, well-maintained, and visually appealing throughout the year.

What You'll Do

• Perform regular grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, and seasonal cleanup
• Maintain athletic fields, sports courts, and recreational areas to established standards
• Operate and maintain grounds equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and special landscaping projects
• Support the broader facilities team in sustaining quality campus environments
• Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices in grounds maintenance
