Social Video Editor

INVIZ, based in Fairmont, Los Angeles County, is hiring a full-time Social Video Editor to create high-performing short-form video content. If you've built an audience on YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram Reels and understand what makes content stop the scroll, this role is for you.

About the Role

As our Social Video Editor, you'll shape the visual story of INVIZ across the platforms where creators thrive. This is hands-on production work: from ingesting raw footage to delivering polished, platform-optimized videos. You'll develop an intuition for pacing, hooks, and audience retention that translates seamlessly across YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.

What You'll Do

• Transform raw footage into finished short-form videos optimized for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels
• Apply proven editing techniques to maximize audience retention and drive engagement
• Craft video structure, pacing, and opening hooks tuned to each platform's unique audience behavior
• Work collaboratively with producers and creators to refine content through the editing process
• Monitor platform trends and adapt your editing approach to maintain content performance and relevance

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience editing short-form content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, or comparable platforms
• Proficiency with video editing software and color grading techniques
• Demonstrated grasp of retention mechanics, pacing, hooks, and audience psychology across social platforms
• Ability to work independently with raw footage and deliver finished, platform-ready videos
• Strong visual storytelling sense with a focus on audience engagement and shareability
• Well-organized approach to file management, version control, and timely delivery
