Producer

KET-Kentucky Educational Television is seeking a Producer to join our team in Lexington, Fayette County. This is a full-time position at Kentucky's only statewide media organization, serving over two million viewers weekly across 8 states and 10 media markets.

About the Role

As a Producer at KET, you'll create television and digital media content for one of public broadcasting's most trusted voices. Your work will reach audiences through broadcast, streaming services, and on-demand platforms as part of our mission to deliver educational and cultural programming.

What You'll Do

• Develop and produce compelling television and digital content that aligns with KET's programming vision
• Collaborate with creative teams, writers, and directors to conceptualize and execute projects
• Manage production schedules, budgets, and resources from conception through delivery
• Oversee post-production processes and maintain quality standards across all formats
• Contribute to KET's diverse portfolio of PBS programming and original productions

• Demonstrated experience in television, streaming, or media production
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• Creative storytelling skills and editorial judgment
