Harmonious Hiring LLC is hiring a full-time SCM Procurement Supervisor in Bell Gardens, Los Angeles County, to lead supplier development, cost management, and procurement strategy across import and domestic operations.
About the Role
As SCM Procurement Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of our supplier ecosystem, from initial vendor evaluation through ongoing relationship management. Your focus will be on building a resilient, competitive supplier network that supports our operational goals while maximizing value. You'll drive initiatives that reduce procurement costs, strengthen supply chain stability, and execute strategic agreements that benefit both the company and our partners.
What You'll Do
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for both imported and domestically sourced goods
- Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve optimal pricing, quality, and delivery performance
- Lead cost reduction projects and identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency
- Manage supplier relationships and performance metrics to ensure supply chain reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategy with business objectives
- Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to maintain competitive positioning
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or vendor management roles
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Track record of driving cost savings and operational improvements
- Experience managing both import and domestic supplier networks is a plus
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives
- Proficiency with procurement systems and tools
