About the Role
As Utilities Assistant, you'll report to the Utilities Manager and take an active role in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the resort's essential systems. Your work spans water treatment, wastewater management, and plumbing infrastructure throughout the property. This isn't desk work—you'll be in the field, learning the technical operations that support a full-service resort on the Oregon Coast.
What You'll Do
- Assist with water treatment plant operations and maintenance
- Monitor and support wastewater system functionality
- Maintain plumbing infrastructure across resort facilities
- Work alongside the Utilities Manager on preventative and corrective maintenance
- Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Respond to maintenance needs and system issues promptly
- Keep accurate records of system performance and work completed
What We're Looking For
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn utility systems operations
- Ability to work hands-on in outdoor and indoor environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable, punctual, and teamwork-focused
- Valid driver's license
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift equipment
- Prior experience in utilities, maintenance, or facilities (helpful but not required)
