Project Engineer – Entergy

TIC - The Industrial Company is hiring a mid-level Project Engineer for its Entergy power division, based in Cammack Village, Pulaski County. This full-time field operations position offers hands-on experience overseeing construction and infrastructure projects in the electrical power market, with a focus on real-world project management and technical execution.

About the Role

As a Project Engineer in our Power District, you'll take ownership of project coordination and field oversight from planning through completion. You'll work directly with construction teams, clients, and cross-functional departments to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards. This position is ideal for engineers who want to grow their career through direct involvement in high-impact power sector work.

What You'll Do

• Manage daily field operations, including crew coordination, equipment logistics, and material scheduling
• Conduct site inspections and document project progress, safety compliance, and quality metrics
• Communicate project status to stakeholders, clients, and internal teams through reports and updates
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and implement solutions in real-time on active job sites
• Maintain detailed project documentation, drawings, and records for regulatory and operational requirements
• Collaborate with engineering and safety teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices
• Travel regularly between project sites as needed to support multiple initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
• 2+ years of project engineering or field engineering experience in construction or utility markets
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-team coordination
• Proficiency with basic project management tools and software
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently between job sites
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and safety-first mentality
