About the Role

In this full-time director position, you will oversee all aspects of petrochemical storage and terminal operations, directing a team focused on maximizing efficiency, safety, and capacity utilization. You'll develop and execute strategies that optimize throughput, reduce operational costs, and ensure seamless coordination between storage, logistics, and distribution functions. This pivotal role reports directly to senior leadership and directly influences PBF Energy's competitive position in the refining and petrochemical markets.

What You'll Do

• Direct daily operations of petrochemical storage facilities, tank farms, and terminal infrastructure
• Develop and implement optimization strategies to increase storage capacity, reduce cycle times, and improve asset utilization
• Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability
• Manage capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility maintenance programs to maximize reliability and lifespan
• Ensure full compliance with environmental regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety policies
• Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and refining teams to align storage and terminal operations with business objectives
• Monitor key performance indicators, analyze operational data, and drive data-driven decision-making
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising safety or quality

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline
• 10+ years of progressive experience in refining, petrochemical operations, terminal management, or logistics
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing large technical teams in industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of storage systems, tank operations, and terminal logistics
• Proven track record in process optimization, cost reduction, and project management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship
