Join Highgate Hotels as a Front Office Director at our Greeley Square property in Manhattan. We're seeking an experienced hospitality leader to oversee all front-of-house operations for our full-service hotel in one of New York City's premier locations. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the General Manager.
About the Role
As Front Office Director, you'll lead the guest-facing operations of a luxury hotel in the heart of Manhattan. You'll manage the front desk team, concierge services, and guest interactions from arrival through departure, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service that reflects our commitment to hospitality excellence.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily front desk operations, guest check-ins, and departures
- Lead, train, and develop front office staff to deliver world-class guest service
- Manage guest complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and discretion
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor room inventory, revenue management, and occupancy metrics
- Maintain hospitality standards and enforce hotel policies and procedures
- Contribute to revenue optimization and guest satisfaction goals
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of front office or guest services leadership experience in upscale hotels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems
- Knowledge of guest service standards and hospitality best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
