About the Role
As an HR Business Partner at MassMutual, you'll bridge the gap between human resources strategy and business execution. Working within our HR Consulting team, you'll partner closely with department leaders to understand their workforce challenges and design solutions that enable business growth. This role combines strategic HR expertise with the ability to influence and advise at the leadership level.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement people strategies aligned with business priorities and organizational goals
- Provide strategic HR counsel and consultative support to senior leaders and business units
- Partner on talent planning, organizational design, and succession planning initiatives
- Lead change management efforts and support cultural initiatives across assigned teams
- Drive talent development programs and career progression frameworks
- Support employment relations matters and ensure compliance with HR policies
- Analyze workforce data and trends to identify improvement opportunities
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a business partner or consulting capacity
- Demonstrated ability to partner strategically with business leaders
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, organizational development, and talent management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with credibility across all organizational levels
- Ability to understand business drivers and translate them into people strategies
- Experience with talent planning, organizational design, and change management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- SHRM certification or similar credential preferred
