MRI Technologist

HCA Florida Westside Hospital is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our imaging team in Cooper City, Broward County. This is a full-time position where you'll deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging services while providing compassionate care to every patient who walks through our doors.

About the Role

As an MRI Technologist with HCA Florida Westside Hospital, you'll play a critical role in our diagnostic imaging department. You'll operate sophisticated magnetic resonance imaging equipment, help patients feel comfortable during procedures, and produce high-quality diagnostic images that help our physicians make informed clinical decisions. What You'll Do

• Operate MRI scanners and maintain equipment according to manufacturer specifications and safety protocols
• Assess patient history, contraindications, and medical needs to ensure safe, appropriate imaging studies
• Position patients and use immobilization devices to capture clear, diagnostically accurate images
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to any concerns or emergencies
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of procedures, patient information, and imaging parameters
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to support quality patient care
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards

What We're Looking For

• Current ARRT (American Registry for Radiologic Technology) certification in MRI or equivalent credential
• High school diploma or GED; some positions may prefer or require completion of an accredited MRI technologist program
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Physical ability to lift, transfer, and position patients as needed
