Banijay Group is hiring a Lead Payroll Administrator to manage comprehensive payroll operations across our diverse U.S. portfolio. In this full-time position based in the United States, you'll oversee accurate, compliant payroll processing while leading payroll best practices across multiple business entities and jurisdictions.

About the Role

As Lead Payroll Administrator at Banijay Group, you'll drive the payroll function for a complex, multi-company environment with operations spanning multiple states and international considerations. This is a strategic position requiring someone who can balance operational excellence with regulatory compliance—ensuring every payroll runs flawlessly while adapting to evolving labor laws and business requirements across our portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Process payroll for multiple company entities across different states with precision and timeliness
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, wage laws, and reporting requirements
• Oversee payroll policy enforcement and ensure consistency across all business units
• Manage payroll reconciliation, tax withholdings, statutory deductions, and benefit deductions
• Coordinate with international payroll operations to align policies and procedures globally
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Stay current with regulatory changes and implement updates company-wide
• Prepare and file required payroll reports and tax documentation on schedule

What We're Looking For

• Proven multi-state payroll administration experience
• Hands-on knowledge of international payroll considerations and compliance
• Deep understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax and wage law requirements
• Proficiency with payroll processing systems and accounting software
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data
• Demonstrated ability to manage payroll operations across multiple entities simultaneously
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience leading or mentoring payroll team members preferred
