About the Role
As a Manager in Banking at West Monroe, you'll lead consulting engagements that help commercial banks navigate complex business challenges and optimize their operations. This full-time position is based in New York City and offers the opportunity to work with Fortune 500 financial services clients while building deep expertise in the banking sector.
What You'll Do
- Lead client engagements focused on commercial lending transformation, process optimization, and risk management
- Develop and execute strategies for treasury management systems, compliance automation, and regulatory alignment
- Support financial advisory work on mergers, acquisitions, and market entry for banking clients
- Mentor junior consultants and build collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams
- Translate complex banking operations into actionable business and technology roadmaps
What We're Looking For
- Proven background in commercial banking, financial advisory, or banking-focused management consulting
- Strong understanding of commercial lending, treasury operations, regulatory requirements, or risk management
- Experience leading client engagements and managing stakeholder relationships across banking institutions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
- Bachelor's degree (relevant field preferred) and willingness to travel as project demands require
