About the Role

As an SIU (Special Investigation Unit) Claims Investigator, you'll play a critical role in protecting our clients' interests by investigating insurance claims for fraudulent activity. This position is based in Buffalo and the surrounding area, combining field investigation work with case analysis and reporting.

What You'll Do

• Conduct field investigations on insurance claims to identify and document fraud indicators
• Perform surveillance and gather evidence through interviews and documentation review
• Prepare comprehensive investigative reports with findings and recommendations
• Coordinate with claims adjusters, legal counsel, and law enforcement partners
• Manage multiple active investigations while maintaining detailed case records
• Develop relationships with clients and insurance industry referral sources

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience as a Claims Investigator, SIU investigator, or equivalent investigative role
• Solid understanding of insurance fraud patterns and investigative methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in the field and manage workload effectively
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for field assignments
• Professional judgment and absolute discretion with confidential case information
