About the Role
We're building a maintenance team that keeps our properties running smoothly while delivering an exceptional experience for residents and investors alike. As our Maintenance Technician at Greenview Village, you'll be the backbone of day-to-day operations—handling everything from emergency repairs to preventative maintenance and improvements that enhance our properties.
What You'll Do
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, fixtures, and common areas
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized work outside your scope
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used
- Keep the property safe, clean, and compliant with local codes and regulations
- Respond to emergency situations professionally and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with residents, management, and stakeholders regarding maintenance needs and timelines
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a maintenance technician, facility technician, or in a similar hands-on maintenance role
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Willingness to respond to urgent maintenance issues as needed
