University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks an experienced Research Services Clinical Sciences Senior Professional to lead complex clinical research initiatives in our Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Centennial, Colorado, ideal for a professional with deep expertise in clinical trial coordination, research operations, and regulatory compliance.

About the Role

As a Research Services Clinical Sciences Senior Professional, you will serve as a key leader in advancing clinical research excellence. You'll manage end-to-end research operations for multiple concurrent studies, ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations while maintaining the highest standards of research integrity and patient safety.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate complex clinical research projects and multi-site trials from initiation through closeout
  • Develop and implement research protocols, standard operating procedures, and quality assurance frameworks
  • Serve as primary liaison between research teams, institutional review boards (IRBs), and regulatory agencies
  • Manage study budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple active projects
  • Oversee patient recruitment, screening, enrollment, and informed consent processes
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, data integrity, and regulatory compliance records
  • Mentor junior research staff and coordinate ongoing training programs
  • Monitor study progress, identify operational risks, and implement corrective actions proactively

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in clinical research, life sciences, nursing, or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in clinical research coordination or research operations
  • Advanced knowledge of GCP (Good Clinical Practice), FDA regulations, and IRB processes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with complex timelines and budgets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with electronic data capture systems and research databases
  • Detail-oriented, organized mindset with commitment to regulatory compliance and data integrity
  • Experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation research a plus
