What You'll Do

• Handle civil litigation cases throughout their lifecycle, from intake and client counseling through trial preparation and resolution
• Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, contracts, and demand letters with precision and strategic insight
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy in support of client objectives
• Manage case timelines, deadlines, and administrative requirements to ensure smooth case progression
• Engage in pre-litigation negotiations and settlement discussions when appropriate
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining clear communication throughout legal proceedings
• Contribute to firm growth by managing a personal caseload and building client relationships

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active Texas bar membership or ability to obtain it
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal—required for client interactions and legal work
• Strong legal research, writing, and drafting capabilities
• Demonstrated litigation skills and courtroom comfort or willingness to develop it
• Organized, detail-oriented approach to case management and deadlines
• Professional demeanor and commitment to client service
• Experience in civil litigation, family law, immigration law, or related practice areas is valued
