About the Role

As an Armed Security Officer for our Queens-area commercial clients, you'll provide essential protection, monitoring, and rapid response across business properties in Brooklyn's East New York and New Lots neighborhoods. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, or rotating hours based on assignment needs. What You'll Do

• Patrol and monitor commercial properties to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Control facility access and verify credentials for authorized personnel and visitors
• Respond immediately to alarms, incidents, and suspicious activity
• Document detailed security observations and complete incident reports
• Communicate clearly with business owners, staff, and emergency responders
• Maintain high standards of professional conduct and customer service

What We're Looking For

• Valid, current New York State Armed Security Guard License
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Valid government-issued photo identification
• Proven record of punctuality and reliability—this is critical to the role
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Availability to begin work immediately, including days, nights, and weekends
• Professional demeanor with sound judgment and attention to detail
• Physical capability to remain alert and mobile for extended periods
