Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, Escambia County is hiring an Insurance Follow Up Representative I for a full-time position ($15–$17 per hour). You'll be essential to our revenue cycle operations, supporting accurate insurance claim processing and patient account management.

About the Role

As an Insurance Follow Up Representative I, you'll be the backbone of our accounts receivables reconciliation efforts. Working within Baptist Health Care's billing department in Escambia County, you'll ensure that every patient account is properly processed and that insurance claims are tracked to completion. This role is critical to maintaining the financial health of our organization while supporting care delivery in Pensacola and the surrounding region.

What You'll Do

• Execute the accounts receivables reconciliation process for patient accounts and insurance claims
• Review and examine patient account records for accuracy and completeness
• Correct errors in patient demographics, insurance information, and billing data
• Consistently update patient account details to reflect current insurance status and coverage
• Follow up on outstanding insurance claims to ensure timely payment processing
• Identify payment discrepancies and work toward resolution with insurance providers
• Document all actions taken on accounts to maintain clear audit trails

What We're Looking For
