Swiss CNC Setup Programmer (Tsugami / Star / PartMaker)

Rapido Talent is hiring a Swiss CNC Setup Programmer for a full-time position in Cudahy, Los Angeles County. This role focuses on precision setup, programming, and operation of Tsugami, Star, and PartMaker Swiss CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for setting up and programming advanced Swiss CNC equipment to meet production specifications and quality standards. This position offers flexible shift options and the opportunity to work with industry-leading precision machinery.

What You'll Do

• Set up and configure Tsugami, Star, and PartMaker Swiss CNC machines for production runs
• Create and optimize CNC programs using PartMaker or equivalent software
• Verify machine setup accuracy and adjust parameters to meet design tolerances
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot operational issues
• Maintain detailed setup documentation and program records
• Coordinate with production teams to meet schedule and quality requirements

Shift Options

• 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (shift premium available)
• Typical 4x10 schedule with overtime opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience setting up and programming Tsugami, Star, or PartMaker Swiss CNC equipment
• Strong understanding of precision machining and tolerances
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with production teams

Compensation

Pay range: $30–$45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
