Principal Solution Architect

Join Red Hat's North America Telco team as a Principal Solution Architect. You'll serve as a strategic technical advisor to enterprise customers, combining deep technical expertise with exceptional customer relationship management and thought leadership.

About the Role

As Principal Solution Architect, you'll be a trusted technical partner to enterprise customers in the telecommunications industry. You'll apply deep knowledge of open-source and enterprise technologies to understand complex business challenges and design solutions that create measurable impact. This role requires you to build lasting relationships with customer stakeholders across technical and executive levels while maintaining the technical credibility to guide architecture decisions and technology strategy.

What You'll Do

• Serve as primary technical advisor and strategic partner to enterprise customer accounts
• Assess customer requirements and design customized technology solutions aligned with business objectives
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship throughout solution implementation, integration, and deployment
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer technical leaders and business stakeholders
• Collaborate with Red Hat Sales, Product Engineering, and Support teams to drive customer success
• Stay current with telecommunications industry trends and open-source technology innovations

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in enterprise solutions architecture or technical account management
• Strong background in enterprise technology, systems design, or infrastructure architecture
• Deep knowledge of telecommunications systems, network architecture, or carrier-grade infrastructure
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfort engaging at all organizational levels
• Technical expertise in Linux, enterprise open-source platforms, or cloud infrastructure (Red Hat experience valued)
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
