About the Role

As a Groundskeeper with the City of Peoria's Parks and Recreation Department, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the parks and sports facilities that are central to our community's quality of life. This part-time position focuses on the essential groundskeeping work that keeps Peoria's outdoor spaces attractive, safe, and welcoming for all residents and visitors.

What You'll Do

• Maintain turf, landscapes, and grounds at parks and sports facilities throughout Peoria
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment according to safety standards
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep to keep facilities clean and well-maintained
• Follow all City of Peoria safety protocols and operational guidelines
• Complete required City training courses as part of onboarding
