Survey Technician I, II, or III

Landpoint is hiring a Survey Technician I, II, or III in Fort Worth, Tarrant County. This is a full-time position in our Operations department where you'll execute surveying projects with precision and technical expertise, reporting to our Senior Survey Technician or Project Manager.

About the Role

As a Survey Technician with Landpoint, you'll play a critical role in the field and office operations that drive accurate land and property surveys. The Survey Technician I, II, and III levels reflect growing responsibility and expertise—from foundational fieldwork to advanced technical coordination. You'll apply surveying principles and equipment knowledge to collect, process, and verify measurement data that forms the foundation of our client deliverables.

What You'll Do

• Perform field measurements and data collection using industry-standard surveying equipment
• Record and organize survey observations with accuracy and attention to detail
• Assist in site layout, stakeout, and boundary determination work
• Process and calculate survey data, ensuring compliance with surveying standards
• Support project managers in coordinating field operations and timelines
• Maintain equipment and documentation in accordance with company procedures
• Collaborate with team members to deliver survey projects on schedule

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or surveying coursework is valued
• Physical capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and carry equipment
• Strong understanding of surveying fundamentals and measurement principles
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain precise records
• Problem-solving mindset and reliability in the field
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• For levels II and III: demonstrated experience in surveying operations and increased technical depth
