CDL A Regional Drivers – Home Weekly

Dot Transportation, Inc. is hiring full-time CDL A Regional Drivers for runs based out of Chester, Chester County. This position offers the stability of a home-weekly schedule, bringing you back to family and community each week while you build a rewarding career in professional transportation.

About the Role

As a CDL A Regional Driver, you'll operate Class A commercial vehicles on assigned routes throughout the region, managing hazardous materials and tanker cargo with precision and safety. This is a dedicated long-haul position that combines distance driving with predictable time off—you'll be on the road for extended stretches, then return home weekly for personal time.

What You'll Do

• Operate Class A commercial trucks safely and efficiently across regional routes
• Transport hazardous materials and tanker cargo according to DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate logbooks, vehicle inspections, and delivery documentation
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
• Adhere to all Department of Transportation safety standards and company policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers throughout routes

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean motor vehicle report, or demonstrated ability to obtain one
• Hazardous Materials (Haz-Mat) endorsement, or willingness to obtain during company-sponsored training
• Tanker endorsement, or willingness to obtain during company-sponsored training
• Medical examiner certificate from a Department of Transportation-approved examiner
• Ability to pass a physical ability test (PAT)
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication
• Strong safety record and commitment to defensive driving practices
