Join Yahoo as a Principal Product Manager for Data & Business Intelligence. We're looking for an experienced product leader to drive strategy and execution across our data and analytics initiatives in our US-based office. This is a full-time position where you'll shape how hundreds of millions of users and advertisers benefit from intelligent data solutions.
About the Role
As Principal Product Manager of Data & Business Intelligence, you'll own the vision and roadmap for products and platforms that power insights across Yahoo's ecosystem. You'll partner with engineering, design, analytics, and go-to-market teams to deliver data solutions that serve both our consumer audience and advertising partners. Your strategic leadership will influence product decisions that impact performance, monetization, and user experience at scale.
What You'll Do
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for data and business intelligence initiatives
- Drive product discovery, requirements gathering, and validation with internal stakeholders and customers
- Own the full product lifecycle from conception through launch, scaling, and optimization
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical roadmaps and ensure delivery excellence
- Partner with analytics and data teams to inform product decisions with insights and metrics
- Develop go-to-market strategies and drive adoption across advertising and consumer products
- Build business cases and track success through KPIs, revenue impact, and user engagement
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve data quality, accessibility, and decision-making
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of product management experience, with significant time leading data, analytics, or business intelligence products
- Proven track record shipping products that scale to millions of users or large enterprise customers
- Deep understanding of data architecture, SQL, analytics systems, and how businesses leverage data for decisions
- Experience working with technical teams on complex, long-term infrastructure and platform initiatives
- Strong business acumen with ability to influence executives and drive strategic alignment
- Excellent communication skills—able to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated leadership in building and mentoring product teams
