About the Role

You'll serve as a licensed Physical Therapist working in the Battle Creek area to provide evidence-based rehabilitation services to patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery. This travel assignment places you within a healthcare facility where you'll take ownership of patient outcomes, managing caseloads independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams. The role offers the variety and professional growth that travel positions provide, coupled with the stability of a full-time schedule during your contract period.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough physical assessments to identify functional limitations and pain sources
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans targeting mobility restoration and pain reduction
• Administer therapeutic exercises and manual techniques appropriate to each patient's condition
• Utilize rehabilitation equipment and modalities to support patient recovery
• Track patient progress through objective measures and adjust interventions as needed
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Document clinical findings and treatment outcomes in patient records
• Communicate effectively with physicians and care team members regarding patient status

What We're Looking For

• Current Physical Therapy license in Michigan
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent patient communication and teaching ability
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and diagnoses
• Willingness to travel and adapt to different clinical environments
