About the Role
You'll serve as a licensed Physical Therapist working in the Battle Creek area to provide evidence-based rehabilitation services to patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery. This travel assignment places you within a healthcare facility where you'll take ownership of patient outcomes, managing caseloads independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams. What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough physical assessments to identify functional limitations and pain sources
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans targeting mobility restoration and pain reduction
- Administer therapeutic exercises and manual techniques appropriate to each patient's condition
- Utilize rehabilitation equipment and modalities to support patient recovery
- Track patient progress through objective measures and adjust interventions as needed
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
- Document clinical findings and treatment outcomes in patient records
- Communicate effectively with physicians and care team members regarding patient status
What We're Looking For
- Current Physical Therapy license in Michigan
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent patient communication and teaching ability
- Experience working with diverse patient populations and diagnoses
