The Grants Administrator holds the responsibility of overseeing applications and awards, for grants, contracts and fellowships from funding sources. Their role involves preparing and submitting applications ensuring compliance and reporting collaborating with departments and assisting in policy development. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelors degree along with a minimum of two years of experience in grants management within profit or academic settings. Additionally they should have an understanding of grant and contract policies, funding requirements and proposal formats. Preferred qualifications include holding a Certified Research Administrator certification and having experience working with grant submission systems. At the Salk Institute we highly value integrity, community building, accountability, respectfulness and empowerment. The expected salary range for this position is $65K to $82K per year. The physical demands include standing for periods of time walking, sitting as using hand movements requiring dexterity.
