The engineer will be responsible for maintaining system availability optimizing performance and efficiency and planning for capacity needs. Additionally they’ll collaborate with product development teams to resolve any reliability issues and offer recommendations for made solutions. The ideal candidate should possess an engineering mindset, proficiency in a programming language, knowledge of Linux system internals experience with integrating APIs and managing cloud infrastructure. Familiarity, with container based deployments and Kubernetes would be advantageous too.
